[When the feed turns on, it's immediately obvious that Jack is excited about something. He's practically bouncing, and if he had his powers, he'd definitely be in the air by now. Instead, he has to settle for grinning at the feed.]

Okay. This? This is the best thing ever!

[He turns the gear around to find Phil the Seel looking surprisingly smug for a Seel.]

Okay, Phil. Let's go. Show 'em your new trick.

[Even off-camera, the excitement in Jack's voice is obvious. And contagious, from the sound Phil makes as he shifts to face a large tree that has apparently been used for target practice this morning. As he concentrates, a block of ice starts to form just in front of his horn before he launches it at the tree where it shatters spectacularly. Somebody is learning Ice Shard, apparently.

Jack comes back in the shot with a whoop. You can almost see the gears turning as Jack thinks of all the things he can do with Phil's new talents.]

How awesome is that? He'll be making snowballs in no time.

((OOC: In case you're ~~lame~~ ~~clueless~~ unused to Pokemon like I am, Phil's Ice Shard is similar to the Mamoswine's here. Less powerful, obviously, but he's still learning.))

"Demands"? That's a harsh word. [He waves his hand dismissively.] Nah, I'd just like to see you put your money where your mouth is.

[The duelist crosses his arms with a smirk.]

Traveling with a couple people, now. [He's still not entirely sure how it happened, but it could be worse.]

I... think I'm just gonna be avoiding caves altogether. It sounds safer that way.

[Other Jack's warning about ledges had been strange, but the part about being trapped in caves has obviously stuck even better. Plus, tight, closed spaces remind him a bit too much of Pitch at the best of times.]

[Luckily, he's too used to Bunny's nicknames to be too fazed by 'Snowball.']

[Good, because it looks like it's gonna stick.]

"Jack"? [He repeats the name with a raised eyebrow, surprise clear in his voice, and then shakes his head with a smile.]

Should've figured... that'd actually explain a lot.

Fire types, usually. Most grass types too.

And the worst is probably an insurrection of angry pokemon, but I mean... well. More experience for your guys, right?

I don't believe anyone would blame you. I hope you know someone with Fly.

Is that seal the only Ice-type you have for now? Probably not enough for some real testing... maybe I should give you the furball but I don't really want to part with him...

[Oh, there was something...]

You'd better ask other people to clarify but I heard that there's a move Ice-type Pokemon can learn that is so cold that the oponent stands no chance. If you ask me, it's quite cruel...

Right now, it's not so bad sticking to places I can get to myself, you know?

If you end up getting a Swinub, be warned, they eat so much you'll never catch a break... or it's just the furball without any restraint.

[The video shifts to the piglet Pokemon and his full bowl. It doesn't take him long to empty it.]

Blizzard, huh... Maybe that's how it was called but I can't shake off the feeling that it was something... Colder.

Well... I don't really want to hurt anybody, just have fun with it. So if it's any colder than Blizzard, I don't know if it's what we're looking for. I'll look out for it, though.

[chuckles at Jack's shiver]

It's not too bad. I just spend all night keeping guard of the lighthouse and mostly spend it shooting the breeze with Amphy.

I'm pretty sure just Blizzard can hurt and make Pokemon faint as well, it's a giant ice storm after all... I don't know about you or other people but I wouldn't particularly enjoy getting hit with that move... okay, maybe there are some who are fond of this but it's rather safe to assume that they are not the majority...
