[Jack has his staff and his powers back. The mid-air loop-de-loops probably make that pretty obvious. As does the miniature snowstorm following him everywhere even in all this heat. Everything within 50 feet of him seems to have forgotten what season it’s supposed to be, which is just fine by him. That heat was too much for anyone, let alone a winter sprite.

Now that he can ride the wind again, he's using it to take him just about everywhere.

[Envy's sitting crouched on top of a lamp post when the sudden blizzard blows through, accompanied by a flying kid that Envy's pretty sure he recognizes. He stands up and waves, very glad that he can't feel the cold as a homunculus.]
