Phil

Type: Water/Ice
Level: 42
Nature: Relaxed, he likes to go with the flow (preferably an ice floe)
Ability: Thick Fat (raises resistance to Fire- and Ice-Type moves)
Held Item: N/A
Notes: Jack's starter, Phil is named for Jack's very favorite
targetyeti. He figured it made sense because they both like cold weather and he can't actually understand what either of them says.He evolved from a Seel to a Dewgong soon after the Glitch Event, around June 9, 2013.
Moveset

Ability: Run Away (enables a sure getaway from wild pokémon)
Held Item: N/A
Notes: Egg received from the Breeding Center as Jack's newbie egg on
4/14/2013back-dating this cause of times between cities. Actually received on 4/12/13 when Jack arrived in Cherrygrove. When will it hatch? Nobody knows~ (At least certainly not Jack.)4/20/2013, that's when! Jack is unfortunately horrible with names, but Patch doesn't seem to mind too much.

Dingle
Info
Species/Gender: Gyarados, male
Type: Water/Flying
Level: 30
Nature: Bold,
a very strange nature for a Magikarp, his flopping can become very aggressivenow that he's a Gyarados, that nature isn't so very strange at all.Ability: Intimidate (Lowers foe's attack stat.)
Held Item: N/A
Notes: Caught while fishing along Route 30 on 4/16/2013. Originally Jack was VERY excited to be one step closer to his dream of having a Gyarados like Jack Skellington's Dennis. Unfortunately, he quickly realized exactly how far he had to go before that dream could be realized. The Magikarp seems about as useful (and as smart) as North's elves, so that's where it got its name. (And now, thanks to Hikaru Hitachiin, he's a tiny bit worried about how that name is going to go over when Dingle finally evolves. But how bad could it be... right?)
Dingle learned Tackle (and therefore became almost useful) on 5/19/2013!
Evolved from a Derpikarp to a Derpados on 6/16/2013!! Ability switched from Swift Swim to Intimidate.
Moveset
Splash | Tackle | Thrash | Bite | Dragon Rage | Leer | Twister
Sophie
Info
Species/Gender: Jumpluff, female
Type: Grass/Flying
Level: 41
Nature: Naive, she just likes being around people
Ability: Chlorophyll (boosts speed in sunny weather)
Held Item: N/A
Notes: Caught 4/22/2013 on Route 31. She drifted in front of his party, and after catching her, Jack decided her bouncy personality and ability to drift into trouble reminded him of a certain human girl he knows to a T.
Evolved from Hoppip to Skiploom on 5/6/2013.
Evolved from Skiploom to Jumpluff on 5/22/2013.
Moveset
Splash | Synthesis | Tail Whip | Tackle | PoisonPowder |Stun Spore | Sleep Powder | Bullet Seed | Leech Seed | Mega Drain | Acrobatics | Rage Powder

4-12 Jack finally treks on over to Cherrygrove City, where he discovers the wonders of being visible to large numbers of people at once! No captures along Route 29, but despite both Jack and Phil (who gains his name along the way) both being fairly lazy, Phil still manages two whole levels! Whoo! Meanwhile, Jack is unimpressed with a human digestive system and the need to wear shoes. Especially the shoes. And money. That sucks, too.
4-15 After a weekend of camping near Cherrygrove (mostly for the food) and pondering, not to mention receiving his brand new egg, Jack turns to the kind folks on the 'gear for advice and commiseration.
Thanks to some well-meaning advice, Jack picked up an Old Rod before he headed north on Route 30 to fish along the way. This leads to him quickly catching his new Magikarp. It's not... exactly what he expected.
4-16 Bunnymund and Tooth join Jack in the Pokeworld, and of course promptly wish they hadn't. Not his fault they look funny.
He also viewed a very interesting feed... and made some unfortunate suggestions.
4-19 While on the road north, Jack and Dingle the Magikarp had some bonding time and eventually talked to Hikaru Hitachiin about the troubles of Magikarp ownership.
4-22 After making the very wise and inevitable decision to avoid any and all caves at all times (just in case), Route 31 brings its own surprises in the form of Jack's newest pokemon, Sophie the Hoppip.
4-23 And of course he can never miss out on an opportunity to bug his favorite ex-bunny rabbit.
4-26 In Violet City, Jack derps around, checking out the scenery and training with his pokemon for a bit. He considers getting a job, but... naw. Luckily, he's already around when a very sad video feed opens up.
4-29 While it's not nice to laugh at new people, and Jack was one himself not too long ago, he can't always help himself. At least he does his best to offer Dorumon some good advice in the process?
4-30 Dingle is good for something! Even if that something is only being a bad example.

Which... well, is much better than the OTHER spectacle he got to witness later than night. It could be worse, though, right?
Of course, it immediately gets worse as Jack and Sho go traipsing off through the woods. Jack sends out a call for advice ((backdated))
5-6 But it wasn't all bad, at least not at first. Jack even got to teach Phil some new tricks on the road.
~5-14 Sho and Jack were really, really lost.
5-15 Jack and a certain prankster redhead had a discussion on their preferred tactics.
5-16 Even while wandering the woods and well into week 2, Jack's able to help out a new arrival.
5-20 Right as the heat and the being lost almost becomes unbearable, he meets another adorable newcomer and accidentally starts him along on a poke-egg obsession. Oops?
He also took a bit of time out to give his favorite little brother some almost useful advice.
Finally, that night somewhere in the wilds, the cutest call for help ever recorded went out.
5-28 And previously noted newbie actually thanks him for it.

Badges!
JOHTO: Zephyr Badge | Falkner | Violet City
Team: For this fight, Phil the Dewgong (lvl 42), Patch the Pachirisu (lvl 45), and Dingle the Gyarados (lvl 30) (All of those are up-to-date for the week of 7-7 through 7-13, and I won't be updating them until after the badge is judged.)
Detailed Response/Just Evaluation: detailed if you have time (no rush, they plan on sticking around Violet for a bit)
Battle Details: In this fight, Jack's gonna be relying heavily on Patch and Phil's level and type advantages, with Dingle along as a JUST IN CASE backup with Dragon Rage, Twister, and Thrash.
He'll send Patch out first and go straight for ending the battle as quickly as possible with Spark and Discharge (both STAB), not bothering with status changes. Should things start to look a bit close or she drops below half HP before defeating Honchkrow, he'll switch her out for Phil. Phil will focus on attacking, as well, with Icy Wind and Aurora Beam (both STAB), although he might break out Encore or Aqua Ring if the opportunity/need arises.
(Spot the Swablu will be present on Jack's
headshoulder throughout, thanks to her hatred of pokeballs, but she's far too low-leveled to take part in the battle and won't do more than celebrate with her teammates.)Badge Mod Response: Patch is going to be able to take out Noctowl with two hits. Spark and Discharge will absolutely destroy Noctowl, who doesn't stand a chance with her lack of attacking methods. She'll just use night shade for the first attack and then quick attack for the second, denting Pachirisu's health.
She'll face Honchkrow who will take a pretty big hit but bounce back and attack with a critical hit, which will lower her health to 15%. Phil will be able to fend off any threat with an aurora beam, Honchkrow will go down. Following this, Pidgeot will fight aggressively with return. Dewgong's health will fall a bit, but he'll press on to win the badge. Falkner will notice the Swablu and offer some specific training tips for flying types, since he has a weakness for these things.
