Video 2: Being Human (Action for Cherrygrove City)
[Obviously, someone has been practicing. When the feed kicks on, it's a properly framed picture of one Jack Frost. He's set up camp in the woods fringing Cherrygrove City with a good view of the beach and a frolicking Seel in the background behind him. He also looks more cheerful and less confused than last time.
Oh, and the egg in his lap. That's new, too.]
So, everyone was awesome about answering my questions last time, now I've got more of them.
Cherrygrove is nice. Been here a couple days, now. [He gestures over his shoulder.] You can tell Phil likes it. Kind of got lost on the way here, yeah, yeah, I know it's a straight line, okay, and Phil is about as slow as slow can be, but now that I'm here, I've got this guy. [He pokes at the egg. It's blue and white and people in the know might recognize it as a Pachirisu egg. Jack is not in the know.] Or girl. How do you tell?
For that matter, what do I do with it? Am I supposed to keep it warm? Someone mentioned a deal for new people just showing up, and that's totally me, so I, uh... just kind of hit buttons until I saw something that sounded good, but now I'm thinking that wasn't the best idea?
[He takes a second to glance over his shoulder, probably to make sure his Seel hadn't been eaten by a shark in the last few minutes or anything. If nothing else, this place seems to be teaching him a really strange sense of responsibility. If only Bunny could see him now.
He resettles, placing the gear on the ground in front of him so it can pick up a full body shot, including the sneakers he wasn't wearing before.]
Okay, second question, and... I know how crazy this sounds, but at least some of you weren't human before getting here, right? Pretty sure I've met one already. [Again, unless Thor's parents had some ridiculous delusions of grandeur.] So the question is- how do you stand it? Not the being here, that's turning out pretty cool, but the rest of it. All the getting hungry, and tired, and walking everywhere, not to mention buying stuff. Am I gonna have to get a- [shudder] -job?

Just about every PokeCenter in either region will accept help, so you are helping take care of someones Pokemon; the nurses will always be available for questions too, so there's no chance of doing something wrong.
video
[Something he enjoys doing? Can you get a job making snowballs?]
Helping people out could be nice.

[Oh yes, this has been a big sore point with Envy ever since he got here.]
And you'll need money if you want to eat and sleep inside, but luckily you can get money from battles. [And, uh. Stealing. Which is what Envy does. Stealing and Meowth's Payday, screw jobs.]. So you don't need some stupid job at a Pokemart cash register.
[video]
I noticed. Doesn't make it any less weird.
I'm fine with sleeping outside. [As evidenced by the nice little campsite he has going.] It's mostly the food I'm worried about. And taking care of these guys. I guess the stronger they get, the better I can do that, huh?
[Envy has just led him to the best possible reason for Jack to become an awesome trainer and win more battles: not having to work regularly. Congratulations.]

Hey, Jack! Yeah, I did. Somehow. Had to break down and put these on, though. [Look, shoes. SHOES. Oh, the indignity.]

You won't be able to tell gender til it's born, and even then you'll probably have to use the Pokegear to know which. Some Pokemon are genderless, so it's just a roll of the dice when you don't know what Pokemon you're getting.
Just keep the egg with you and take care of it. You don't have to sit on it or roll it, I don't even think you have to keep it warm, they're hardy. I just put them in my bag when walking around, but my Riolu seems to like to huddle against them at night. I don't think it helped or hurt any.
I also just did a "whatever sounds good" when picking my free egg, got this one [pets his Eevee who is slung over his shoulder like always] so maybe you'll luck out too.
Video
Take care of it. Right. No playing basketball with it, then? [Haha, that's a funny joke, no, don't answer that.]
Phil doesn't really seem to care much either way. I think he likes sleeping more than egg-sitting. But thanks for the advice.
...Okay, no, I've gotta ask. What's with the outfit?

I knew people who weren't human before they came here, but you're kind of the first one that's mentioned not needing to eat and walk. [The tone is a bit amused, though she'd not trying to be rude. She's a bit awed at the idea I suppose you'd say.]
Video;
except that it's totally notIt is a pretty cool idea, if Jack does say so himself. He'll totally take the awe.
Since he's unlikely to get it anywhere else.He does look a bit sheepish, though.]Well, I was kind of... dead. Not like 'grr argh' zombies dead- [Of course, he makes the appropriate hand motions to go with the sound effects.] -but... well, yeah, kind of dead. And you can get places SO much faster taking the wind than walking, so why bother?
[Obviously, the HUMANS CAN SEE ME! shock has worn off in the face of more pressing annoyances.]

Snow days. Lots of 'em. 'Course the rest of the time, it depends on who you ask.
[Never ask Bunny. That's always the wrong answer.]

Well, there are certain Pokemon who can warm eggs faster - but, really, nothing seems to break them. So you can't do any wrong with them.
They usually hatch in a week or two, as well.
[...]
I can't really tell what gender eggs turn out, either - so, what I'd do is just pick out names which'd suit if they were a boy or girl.
[But he managed to mistake a female Wooper for a male one. Hm... anything else? Laguna thinks for a few moments, before...]
Watch out when they hatch - they might wanna try out their powers. And if there's nothing else around, you might end up the scratching post of a frisky baby.
[video]
How bad could it be? The egg isn't THAT big. So the baby has to be pretty small, right?
[video]
[video]
video;
As a human though, I cant tell you how it is because this is how i've been all my life. However, if you get the right Pokémon and raise it properly, it will be able to carry you.
video;
[Said Seel has decided to flop his way over from the beach. Obviously, even he has had enough surf for one day. Say hi, Phil.]

[ She's pretty sure she's why he got it, anyway. ]
And yep, some of us weren't human! I was a troll, myself! I think that parts of it were different, though. I mean, I got hungry and tired before, sometimes! But the walking is sort of a pain. I miss flying.

his munhe'll certainly be sure to thank her.]An egg sling? Sure, why not? Otherwise, it's just gonna get to ride in my backpack. [Although, seriously, someone needs to decide if he needs to keep it warm or not.
A troll, huh? I don't think I ever met a troll. Yetis, sure. Not so much trolls. But the walking is definitely the worst. Going around things all the time. And you can't see anything from down here! [No, he did not just admit he's short, you must be hearing things.]

[He frowns a little bit at the second question.]
And 'bout that other thing... If we've lived our entire lives like that, then it probably won't kill you, either.
Especially the job.
[He puts some unnecessary emphasis on that last word, since Crow is one of Those People who seem to think that everyone should get a job and earn their own livelihood, preferably once they turn fifteen.]
[video]
Hey, I'd like to see you try to be me, and figure it all out in a week.
[And he's totally sort of fourteen, anyway. Depending on how you count.]

[Jack is actually curious. Taking away his powers, sure, fine, he doesn't like it, but it's sort of happened before when he was being stupid and Pitch was being his usual evil self. But actually changing someone's physical shape? That had to be a lot more difficult.]
