[Jack has his staff and his powers back. The mid-air loop-de-loops probably make that pretty obvious. As does the miniature snowstorm following him everywhere even in all this heat. Everything within 50 feet of him seems to have forgotten what season it’s supposed to be, which is just fine by him. That heat was too much for anyone, let alone a winter sprite.

Now that he can ride the wind again, he's using it to take him just about everywhere.

So, who’s up for a snowball fight???]

[ Akito nearly trips over himself in fright at the sudden, unexpected laughter. Normally he would have noticed someone nearby - either by scent or by hearing - but he supposes if Jack is a spirit of snow, his scent would be masked by the environment. His Pokémon are surprised as well, though handle themselves better. For the most part, at least - Kushiro stumbles over himself as well, causing the snowball he was making to fly out of his paws.

He recognizes the laughter as soon as he hears it, and turns to the source with a small smile. ]

Hi, Jack!

[His smile just turns wry as he reaches to scoop up the lost snowball.]

Hey. You looked like you could use some help.

[ Akito pulls a face at him, though it's obvious he isn't actually offended. ]

I told you I never did this before!

Yeah, yeah, excuses. It's easy. Watch.

[He'll just go ahead and throw this one at Akito, huh? Easiest way to learn.]

[ Akito moves out of its way and tries to catch it with his hand, but fails - his fingers are still too cold. he lets out a small laugh, mixed with a whine of irritation that makes Regalia shoot Jack a growl from inside Akito's shirt. ]

Cold!

[ he'll use Regalia's fur as a brief hand-warmer before kneeling down and trying to mimic how Jack made his snowball. ]

[The tiny growl gets a laugh.]

Don't worry about the shape so much. Go for weight.

[A perfect ball of snow was great, of course, but most people didn't get the snow to actively cooperate in the process.]

[ when Akito smiles again at the sound of Jack's laugh, Regalia growls once more, and Akito realizes that his little Eevee is jealous. of what, he isn't sure - probably the attention? but it makes him laugh as well. ]

I'll do my best!

[ and he goes about making a snowball very precariously, making sure it weighs a good amount in his hand before rounding it out. ]

[Jack just gives him an encouraging smile. While Akito does that, Jack might just end up helping the rest of the pokemon, the ones that don't hate him right now, make a snowman.

[ That encouraging smile makes him blush just a bit, and he focuses on making his snowball. when he's satisfied, he goes to throw it at Jack, but pauses to watch him play with his Pokémon.

before Regalia can growl again and give him away, Akito throws the snowball as hard as he can at Jack. ]

[His aim is better this time. Jack stares, just a bit confused, at the snow that he decidedly did NOT put on the back of his hoodie before laughing again and shaking it off.]

Oh, you wanna fight, huh?

[ Akito lets out a quick peal of laughter, and rushes to make another snowball before Jack can retaliate. ]

Three rules!

No abilities, no ice, and stop if there's blood!

[Jack plants his hands on his hips, pretending to be put out.]

Rules? Who makes rules for a snowball fight?

[ THROWS A SNOWBALL AT YOUR FAAAAACE. ]

[Oh, no. No WAY is he giving Akito another free one. Nope! He drops down to dodge that one, quickly gathering his own. Even when he's not deliberately using powers, he can't help the fact that snow just does what he wants it to, so his snowball is considerably more perfectly shaped than Akito's. He doesn't feel bad.]

Doesn't mean you're gonna win!

[ and while Jack dodges that one, Kushiro tosses another one his way. ]

Who cares about winning?

[ tries to make another snowball quickly, but fails when it explodes in his hands. he scoops up some more snow and runs away !! ]

[Which leaves Jack shaking snow off his leg. He mock-glares at the pokemon.]

Hey, no powers? So what do they count as?

[Akito is getting the snowball Jack already has made thrown at him, and then Jack is pulling out Phil's ball and calling him out to join the fray. At the least he'll be a good moving barrier to hide behind.

Phil looks a bit confused over what he's found himself in the middle of, but it's cold! And snowy! Which is okay by him.]

[ He laughs, letting Regalia jump out of his shirt to go sit and watch with A-T and Mikura. Kushiro seems to be the only one of his Pokémon interested in playing. ]
